Seoul subway tips every tourist should know

After living in Seoul for 3 years, here's what I wish someone told me day one: 1. Last train is around 11:30-midnight — NOT 24 hours. Check the Naver Map app for exact times. 2. Transfers are free within 30 minutes between subway and bus. 3. Women-only cars exist during rush hour on some lines (pink markings). 4. Priority seats are STRICTLY for elderly/pregnant/disabled. Never sit there. 5. Exit numbers matter — Search your destination + exit number on Naver Map before leaving the platform. 6. Luggage — Take the elevator, not escalator. Most stations have elevators near exits 1 or 2. 7. Wifi — Free wifi on all trains and stations (look for 'Seoul WiFi' or 'KT Free WiFi').
