Tipping culture in Korea — do I tip at restaurants, hotels, taxis?

Coming from the US where tipping is expected everywhere. What's the deal in Korea? I've read conflicting things — some say never tip, others say it's fine at hotels. I don't want to accidentally offend anyone. What's your experience?
