How much cash should I carry in Korea? Is card enough everywhere?

I've heard Korea is very cashless but then some people say you need cash for markets and small shops. I'm staying 7 days in Seoul and Busan. Should I exchange money at the airport or wait? How much cash do you usually carry per day? Specific experiences would be super helpful.
